I went here because it was close to another place that I needed to be and I was hungry. I was pleasantly surprised. I needed help navigating the menu to decide what type of plate or meal to get as well as what my gluten-free options were and Nick M Was really helpful in making it simple for me to understand and make the right choice for me. He also directed me to a allergy menu, so I was sure to pick food that was indeed gluten-free It was nice that he was so kind and patient with me because I was having a really off day and I was having trouble understanding some very basic things. There was no point in which he was frustrated or annoyed, which would have been an easy attitude to have. He continued to go out of his way to make sure I understood things about things I wasn't even asking because I didn't know to ask I ended up ordering the chicken as well as the potato salad and coleslaw. They were all very good and I would want to order them again. I really appreciate that All the sauces were gluten-free. My favorite was the sweet one. The chicken did need the sauce in order to be tasty, but that's how it is at most barbecue places so I would say that's normal Everything in there looked clean and taken care of It's definitely worth checking out

Extremely quiet restaurant, there were more workers than customers both times I went. I've tried their brisket, pulled pork, polish sausage, ribs, as well as fried okra, mac and cheese, cole slaw, creamed spinach, baked beans, potato casserole, and cornbread (their meal plates come with cornbread or dinner roll instead of Texas toast, disappointingly). They have huge buckets of warmed BBQ sauces (original, sweet, and spicy) and an ice cream machine that is down for maintenance. Pickles and onions are on the side as well. The first time I came I came in person and we could sit at literally any table because it was entirely empty (I think one person came to pick up a to-go order). The food came out fairly quickly and I appreciated that. The pulled pork could've been pulled more (kind of large chunks) and the sausage could've been cut through (maybe needs sharper knives)? I liked the spicy sauce. The size of their Big Yellow Cup reminds me of a scene in parks and rec about how stupidly large the drinks are. The next time was a to-go order, where they forgot to give me the pickles and onions I asked for, as well as a BBQ sauce (maybe it was in a separate bag they didn't give me). The ribs imo were too hard, the brisket dry in slices but fatty in chunks (so I'll be getting chunks lol), sausage pretty tasty (no jalapeno cheddar though), pulled pork pretty tasty. Cornbread was...fine. All those semi-complaints aside, i think they basically satisfied my bbq craving sufficiently, so if I want some decent bbq sometime, I can definitely get some here quickly. Wouldn't really expect a large chain to have extremely stellar food, so it's good for what it is. Also, they're open on holidays including Xmas and New years! They have enough parking, and a single bathroom (quite large).
